Gynecology Services

Outpatient Services:

The department provides regular gynaecology outpatient clinics run by Gynaecologist with training registrars. Patients with general gynaecology conditions can be referred by their Family Doctors for consultation. Minor procedures such as colposcopy, cervical polypectomy, IUCD insertion or removal, endometrial biopsy are part of the services. The hospital is also a training site for the clinical part of the IUCD insertion program for NSW Family Planning Association.
 
Inpatient Services:
 
Patients with gynaecology conditions require hospital admission or surgeries will be admitted to the hospital under the care of a gynaecologist of the hospital. Patients require elective surgeries are placed on a waiting list. Patients with urgent gynaecology condition can present to the hospital emergency department. There are training registrars on site 24/7 with consultant support at home and can be called in when required.
