Friends of Concord

Friends of Concord are a wonderful group of volunteers who give their time selflessly to the Hospital, assisting with a myriad of activities in both patient and non patient areas.

An important part of the “Concord family”, the Friends of Concord has made significant contribution to the positive experiences of our patients from the front door of the hospital to discharge.

Examples of Activities

• Patient Escorts
• Support at ward level
• Reading to patients
• Music therapy
• Gift Shop
• Running raffles
• Coordinating weekly market

Becoming a friend of Concord

If you would like to join the “Friends of Concord” , please contact our Marketing Department on telephone 9767 6038 during business hours for an interview.

You will be required to attend an orientation on completion of an application form and following a criminal record check.
