• Survey of an area-wide survey of models of care, processes used by nurses to allocate patients to staff, satisfaction, self-concept and other patient outcomes.

• A five year program of research including the development of the community nursing groups, minimum data set and health outcomes measures for Australia’s veterans. Establishing the National Exceptional Case Co-ordination unit for veterans with exceptional nursing care needs. Finally, the development of the national policy relating to community nursing care for the veteran community.
• Clinical trial comparing peripheral cannulae replacement at 48 hours versus when needed, in community-living clients receiving a short course of intravenous antibiotics.

• Five year programme of research relating to bilingualism in the health care sector: survey of language use of health and hospitality staff, focus groups with bilingual and monolingual staff, conceptual framework on social and technical language use in health care, development of language assessment tools for social and technical language use, development of policy for NSW Health.
• The health of Vietnamese Australians.

• Midwifery initiated oral health care (an excerpt from a midwifery oral assessment)
• Breastfeeding support in special care and in culturally diverse populations.
• Longitudinal study of perinatal mental health in women birthing in Sydney South West
• Implementation and evaluation of a partnership caseload model of midwifery practice.
• Measuring maternal satisfaction.
