NSW Health Registered Training Organisation (RTO) is an enterprise based RTO that is committed to providing quality training and professional development programs to NSW Health employees to address skill shortages and provide career opportunities. A small number of clinical courses are offered to external candidates. NSW Health RTO also participates in traineeship and VET in Schools programs to offer training opportunities more widely and enhance career pathways for new entrants.
NSW Health RTO is currently registered to deliver nationally recognised qualifications (at Certificate III, IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma level) across a broad range of industry sectors including health services, business services, community services and training and assessment. All education and training provided by NSW Health RTO is conducted by qualified professionals to maximise learning outcomes and enhance workforce performance for participants.
NSW Health RTO and its staff operate according to the NSW Health policies, procedures and code of practice. It also has specific RTO policies and procedures that ensure provision of quality training and assessment and compliance with the national regulator for registered training organisations (ASQA).
